Origami club
The origami clubs was an online session where students of all ages were welcomed to learn how to fold individual origami knickknacks
Fold a Wish
Fold Wish soon branched from the Origami club turning all the participants paper crafts into origami trinkets to hand them up onto a tree
Fundraising
Once Fold Wish got comfortable with Origami crafts, they started a fundraiser by weaving congradulation Leis for the graduating year of 2023.
Achievments!
June 2021 - Present
Fold Wish started off with a blast of 40 applications and 23 volunteers came to the first week!


November 2021
Soon the City Hall connected with us requesting that we design 12 frames and donate a wishing tree to Vietnam veterans live on Walnut's TV. Shortly after, we fundraised $196 from the Walnut Family Festival.



December 2022
In 2023, Fold Wish donated back to our local high school where most participants come from, Walnut High School, where the tree still stands in the library entrance.




August 2023 - May 2024
Fold Wish continues the Lei fundraiser for the graduating class of 2024! We sold 252 Leis for $5102 through out the Walnut school district!



August 2021
Fold Wish made not just their first but three donations all in one day! They first donated to the Walnut Senior Center, Walnut's City Hall, and the Teen Center located next to the Walnut Gym.




Febuary 2022
Fold Wish's next donation was for the kids who fo to Walnut Elementry, next to the Walnut School District!




August 2022 - May 2023
Fold Wish's next miles-stone is the successful fundraiser for the graduating class of 2023! We sold 150 Leis for $3,046 from 6-8 different schools.
